Social Media, A Global Problem?
If you’ve spent a bit of time on social media over the past few years, you know that it isn’t always the most positive environment. It’s possible also, you have sometimes joined the voices asking the simple question, why are our feeds crowded with negativity, violence and even hatred? Across the global citizens around the world, everyone is either complaining about something or all of the operations of the social media. Generally, the platforms are accused of profiting out of sowing divisions and causing chaos also, lack the approach to assuring safety control both in the right uses and misuses of the technology. Majority has concluded that the very foundation of social media is flawed.

On the part of the citizens, social media is viewed as the major source of disinformation, exacerbating deep-seated prejudice and distrust between the global citizens. People send the posts intended for bullying each other of which, many widely documented records show the consequential violence are causing strains in inter-personal relations spanning the family, community, nationally and internationally. Among the victims are people falling into depression and or committing suicide. Groups and associations are formed internationally on the platforms for the purposes of committing violence including, terroristic attacks and other inhumane offenses. Citizens worry about their individual data being collected on the platforms because, depending on the reasons for which a third party has collected them without the owners consent, an unsuspecting citizen might be victimized.
On the part of governments, the politicians across the world countries, are drawn into hostile confrontation with each other. The conspiracy theories spreading on the platforms’ disinformation structure, fuels adversarial competition in support of identity politics. These result to individual careers being unfairly threatened. Both the leadership of governments and those of the social media operatives are caught-up in a quagmire. Struggles from both quarters to counter the cascading problems have not presented the expected satisfactory responses. PEACEPOST is committed to bringing a paradigm change.

THE INNOVATION THAT KEEPS THE HOPE ALIVE
The inspiration to establish the PEACEPOST was drawn from the early stages attempts made by the Company’s founder and CEO; Emmanuel Ache, to start the coordination of an international peacebuilding organization, called: World Peace System Project, focused on crowdsourcing world peace solutions. As part of its services the non-profit organization is structured to coordinate multiple programming, to operate through the districts internationally. However, it quickly became clear that there aren’t the right infrastructure of peacebuilding to support the launch of such international peace undertaking. Against the backdrop of factors opposing to global community cohesion in vision, trustworthiness, transparency and integrity, the state of the social media as the world experiences it across all spectrum, reveals that no platform has been intentionally prepared for the purposes of effective coordination of global peacebuilding.
PEACEPOST as a solution is not merely a name, the choice is philosophically characterized by the aptitude to reach far and beyond in changing the narratives about the role of social media, globally. We are being intentional in repurposing the social media as a platform on which to co-create cooperation, unity and world peace. Although it may not seem like it but, as the motivation for the PEACEPOST, there is plenty of good happening in the world all the time. We want to create an environment for users to share a variety of activity of daily living and information about their culture, with the hopes of spreading peace over social media. By peacefully educating other people about different cultures, we’ll reach a milestone in widespread tolerance and acceptance of each other.
Through the programs the platform creates, all people can gain new perspectives on diversity and inclusion also, work in concert collaborating through a constructive structure, to co-create and accomplish a more successful undertakings in global peacebuilding.

PEACEPOST is creating a safe space for learning, having fun and viewing only content that is exciting and happy! We’re interested in cultural demystification and building strong, worldwide connections, as the global citizens connect at the grassroots. Peacebuilding cannot fulfill its goal if hate speech, bullying or unwelcome controversy is present.
We are poised to provide the platform to be there for the citizens of all nations. In that context our mission becomes, for citizens to feel we are a companion for virtual excursion in the search for the secrete to peace, which all people need on all fronts. To build the culture of peace globally, our platform sends on behalf of the global citizens, a huge thanks to any global citizens who may have discovered and experienced peace in any activities that they are involved and would want to showcase the peace to the world by reaching out through the PEACEPOST. All global citizens are invited to post all things legal which ordinarily can be posted in a social media. Furthermore, our thanks go also, to the global citizens who see the need to browse the posts on the platform in order to learn what it is the others have done in order to navigate difficult circumstances which otherwise could undermine the individuals, community’s or nation’s peace.
